First Step Children’s Network is hiring experienced and entry level Behavior Technicians who will provide in-home services to toddlers, children, and teens with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. Behavior Therapists will play an important part in helping clients develop skills to help them reach their full potential. We are currently looking for Behavior Technicians to work throughout Riverside County, CA & San Bernardino County, CA.

We provide paid training, paid mileage, paid drive time, and a flexible schedule. You will always be guided and mentored by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with children in their homes, helping them learn how to communicate, play and learn
  • Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Clinical Supervisors
  • Accurately record treatment data
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Maintain high level of communication with Clinical Supervisors

Requirements:

  • Have an interest in working with children
  • MUST have a completed High School Diploma
  • Ability to pass background/ fingerprint clearance, and provide/obtain TB clearance; immunization records up-to-date
  • Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver's license, safe driving record, proper auto insurance, and vehicle registration
  • Available hours during the afternoon/evening
  • Willingness to accept reassignment of clients as required
  • Open and flexible to drive within a 25-mile radius from home/work location
  • Experience working with children highly preferred
